are meant to impress, while in actuality, tend to be more self-serving.
At AFS, we believe the important things to introduce and present are
our levels of service and support that are designed to help you
succeed. AFS has both internal and external teams.
Our internal teams have evolved over the years to
better serve our producers. AFS has grown from a small, two-person
team to a much larger company, organized along business functions:
Marketing (x129) This team coordinates
all of AFS's marketing programs, answers questions from prospects,
oversees distribution of marketing kits and sales materials, and coordinates
proposal fulfillment to all AFS producers and prospects. In addition,
this team delivers valuable sales concepts and assistance.
Operations & Fulfillment (x128)
This team provides you with all the appropriate marketing information
and sales literature that is needed to complete your sale
in your state. Although it may not seem like it, this task
is actually quite complex. Because AFS works with a large number of
insurance companies that have a large number of products, as well
as serves a large number of producers in nearly every state, the amount
of information we keep in stock is enormous. We pride ourselves
on ensuring that each producer receives the most current and accurate
information on products approved in the state that holds his/her license.
In fact, though most requests are processed within 48 hours, we will
not send out information to our producers without having
first done the necessary research. This team is a real time-saver
for you! The Operations & Fulfillment team also ensures you have
the needed product's specific forms, and is responsible for coordinating
all of your requests for information (except proposals--see marketing
department).
Licensing & Contracting (x126)
This team coordinates producer licensing and contracting through AFS
for various insurance companies.
Broker Services (x121) This team
oversees our securities operations as well as helps you with new business,
including follow-up. The Broker Services team also administers transfers
and exchanges for producers. Our producers who are licensed in securities
receive office and sales support from this team.
New Business Processing (x127)
This team, with the assistance of the AFS automated business management
system, processes new business effectively and efficiently, and subsequently
tracks and follows up on your business. This team makes sure that
you are paid commissions in an accurate and timely manner. Our non-security
producers also receive a range of office and sales support from this
team.
The AFS external team includes many consultants and
supporting experts. Over the years, AFS has built a strong network
of professionals around the country including attorneys, accountants,
marketing consultants, and product experts, who help AFS producers
with everything from tax and legal advice to designing direct mail
campaigns and advance case consultations. In short, when a producer
needs an answer, they not only have the benefit of all of AFS's experience
and expertise, but also access to an unparalleled support network.
In this day and age, technology really matters. The AFS Team
is supported by a state-of-the-art LAN, digital document processing
and the latest in Internet technology. Our CRM software was designed
to maximize our efficiency in dealing with you, our client.
